Bharat Tewarie, MD, MBA

Bharat Tewarie is currently the CEO of Helio Genomics, a cancer diagnostics company. He brings deep strategic and operational expertise to the Aveta Biomics board. Trained as a medical doctor with an MBA, Dr. Tewarie held positions of increasing responsibility at Boehringer Ingelheim, Roche, Merck Serono, and UCB in Europe and the USA.

Most recently, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer and a member of the Executive Committee of UCB. Since 2021 he has been CEO and Chair of the Board of ViroCarb Inc and the founder of Boston Biopharma Consultants. He received his MD from Utrecht University and MBA from Webster University.
